¶ after second foo bar that was fantastically and professionally realized by four great creators: daniel fischer, astrid schwarz, oliver maklot and ajda srdic i immediately had to fly to london to meet the warmest and most crucial person and two nights afterwards to
la rochelle in western france on a university program entitled digital strategies of the living world.
one of many impressions/expressions from the summer meeting at la rochelle on art, science and technology:
the ongoing question this week is what kind of strategy we will adopt to better collaborate, for what kind of critical approach we will stand to deconstruct technological enviorement according to our needs in natural/digital world? and what kind of knowledge we need to reconstruct it again? are we on the way to make a new imagenery, to actually build not only an artificial being but also new mind structures that would be capable to overcome the abuse of technology?

¶ i've got the best possible tool for digital strategies of the living world.
this tool is personalized new computer which waited for me back at dvorakova. it has come from the hearts of three basic people in my life.
its time to celebrate!
after spending days in la rochelle with sally, marion, louis, mc diana, florence, anja, stephanie, pascale and many more i am totally exhausted and even more excited from one week deep discussions. they are crucial for my further thinking. we were dealing with many old and new questions,
for example where to draw the line between natural and artificial, while the actual difference is no longer possible.
so i'm extremly happy today. i feel like i would have everything. everything what alice needs for her best dreams in wonderland.

¶ its still very intense. i think this year is one of the most intense years in my life. it has got so much to do with emotions, radical expressions, euphoria and soul breakbeating.
it has got also much to do with learning, not only studiing, but also being concentrated on one particular problem - that is so everydayish but yet so essential.
today i was present at the jury meeting for an architectural fest. i was again surprised how similar problematic affects different fields of expressions: how same methods are used in creative fields as well as in simple commercial culture. culture, creativness, commercial are not ccc[tv] counterpoints but are actually merging same questons and are looking for similar answers. the questionmarks from la rochelle are continuing here - i figured out quite a few mutual points that we could adopt for the future.
i 'm looking forward for some strategic proposals to appear in this blog in further days, months, years ...

if we have already adopted some features that are enabling us ecological awarness concerning nature we are also able to adopt some of this awarness in the IT progress - thus the future is not only part of distopian vision but it can maybe bring the planet of egalitarian collaboration in a digital/natural network.

¶ can you imagine .. he hacked the translator in just one night. now we have irrespective of OS possibilty to translate anything from everything ;)

anyway calm sunday with a nice stanislav lem morning reading-in-bed, late aftrenoon autumn walk through the city and a cup of lavazza which i finally find the best coffee around ljubljana's bars.
i am suppose to work tonight again. we are working on a catalogue for ultraskin, at the moment i am fan of lucy orta's work. she seems to perfectly manage the interrelations of art, design and emerging social issues. in her work one can find amazing 'solutions' for problems like lack of space or rather lack of homes, community advantages and migration. the interesting approach is also her way of working, with two spaces: one for production, research and 'promotion', the other that is outside paris, for brainstorming and articulating ideas.
i love my new playground. it seems i have to say it loud over and over again. but .. although i thought i will immediately become an expert in computer technics i simply cannot force my brain's network to get it in a flash. i will need time to learn, a support of my nearest and a will to read manuals over and over again.

there are so many thoughts to share. so many things to touch.
do you know the Re-Magazine - its the magazine of blog like, life like, very casual like stories. so beautiful and 'identitable'. it crawls in your head and smoothens your stressy mind.
so i give you the beggining of one story:
....my best-beloved, my partner in crime, my better half, my craft in a storm, my safety net, my metronome, my weather, my explorer of interlocking lakes, my millionaire gambler of guessing what's the matter, my foreign traveller, my mirror, my anchor, my enemies' enemy, my polygraph, my witness, my alibi, my road out of the country of either or....by francesca beard.
people wish for the moon, but the moon is barren place without water or light. i wish only for you, though the most beautiful thing in the world is, in fact, a story.
its the story - we live.
